Description
I made it after the following recipe
[link]
Stuffed with onions, carrots, cellery, sweet ´n sour cucumber, some mushrooms.
I liked my last stuffing with polenta better..but it just looks delicious, or?
I roasted onions, carrots, cellery and potatoes in the loaf pan together with the seitan...roasted vegetables are just great.
If you reheat it the following day it is more *meaty*
If you roast it and cut it, drizzle it with gravy ..it is really good..but softer than most people like it.
I drizzled it with tomatoe-oil(oil in which dried tomatoes had been stored), aromated with shredded skin from organic lemons.
That really gave it a kick.
And when you slice it the other day, reheat it in a pan until it browns you have some wonderful stuff for sandwiches.
For me the recipe is not strong enough in flavour/salt.
I used vegan gravy to mix it with the gluten and chickpea flour instead of water.
